Space Available x Western Hydrodynamic Research
Space Available and Western Hydrodynamic Research (WHR), is excited to announce the launch of a collection of upcycled garments and recycled plastic furniture. The project fuses Space Available's circular design ethos with WHR's approach to DIY through utilitarian beach products.
The Space Available team embarked on a mission to source and upcycle hundreds of vintage outdoor jackets, transforming them into pockets and zip details for a range of new garments including sweats, t-shirts, and caps.
Each item is a one-of-a-kind piece, reflecting the artisanal nature of the upcycling process. The classic WHR logo caps have been upcycled from deadstock and contain recycled plastic beads used to adjust the size of the cap.
Garments within the collection are hand-stitched with the Space Available signature artisanal craft details and feature recycled ocean-bound plastic hardware. Natural plant-based dyes have been used throughout the collection, ensuring a minimal environmental footprint.
This limited collection will be available at select global stockists and the Space Available website
